Many of us have joined Google Plus and are posting, sharing and commenting but, are not getting much action back. There is no use in doing any of those things if there is no one seeing it so; we need to find more people to talk with. We don’t just want anyone, we want to find people who like the same things we do. Yeah, I don’t like Rap music, I don’t speak Japanese, I don’t own an iPhone, I don’t need to see every animated GIF from the last 20 years…so people who spend all their time sharing about those topics are really of little to no interest to me. Google Plus has been listening to all the feedback and they have stepped up to change at least one very important thing. They are making changes to 3 things but, one seems more important than the others do (at least to me).
Google Plus business pages can now have multiple admin! Yes, your page can now have up to 50 (fifty) admin per page! For all of us that have multiple partners in a business, blog or may manage the SEO and networking for other companies…this is a HUGE bonus! In fact I almost feel as if Santa Clause came early! YouTube rolled out the option to try out their brand new channel layout/profiles last week. I went right over and checked it out and so should you. I have a feeling that in a short time all users will get it whether they want it or not and you may as well have it set up as you want it.
One of the main reasons I switched my YouTube Channel is because the new layout is believed to be more mobile friendly. Your videos’ being mobile friendly is very important since (depending on what you read) YouTube views are from 50-60 % mobile device visitors. The channels that I personally check are about 40% mobile views, but yours may be higher depending on what type of audience you have. If people have a better experience when they get to your page, they may just stay longer and could also choose to watch a few more videos. Continue reading
