Just wanted write a quick post and show you some images in a slide show of the Dell 23″ HD monitor I won in a contest I wrote about on this site last month. Sometimes it is nice to take a break from the same blog tips articles I usually write on a daily basis! The monitor is AWESOME! I read about the contest over on Software Critic’s website and decided to enter. I followed their instructions, and after posting about it here, I pretty much forgot about the whole thing. A couple of weeks later I was contacted that I had won, and being the skeptic that I am I didn’t believe it! The sponsor for this giveaway was Power Pivot, which is a program that works in conjunction with Microsoft Excel (which I love using for all types of reasons!). I have just entered a compition for a star letter on a magazine, hopefully I will be as lucky as you. Glad you didn’t whack it straight on ebay. Out of interest how new is your tower? Do you need anything massively powerfull or is it just run of the mill PC?

@TheInfoPreneur, My PC is about a year and a half old, it had a 2.5Ghz dual core processor and 3G of RAM, it is lacking in a few areas like graphics but I am working on updating that along with the power supply.
Considering the spec’s on it, I think I only paid $350 for the tower, so it wasn’t too bad.

Congratulations Keith. I have a 22 inch wide screen that fits perfectly in my roll-top desk but I still want a bigger one. I guess I need a different desk. I have a new 15 inch LCD HDTV (can you believe they come that small?) that came free with a furniture purchase and I’m thinking about dual monitors but I have no idea how to do it.
