I am excited to announce that we will be making some changes here at Hot Blog Tips dot com. I took this site over from Brian D. Hawkins only this evening, and am very excited about it. I will be adding articles here on a daily basis, sometimes multiple articles as I get moved in.
If you want to know more about me check out my about page, we can connect on facebook as well as twitter. I will also be creating a fan page for Hot Blog Tips this week and add it to the sidebar so you can become a fan and keep up there as well.
I may be playing around a little with the design here, but will probably keep it the same as it is for the most part, well unless I decide to change it, but I like the simplicity of this theme the way it is.
We are a Do-Follow blog, but I moderate HEAVILY, so don’t spam. Take advantage of the CommentLuv plugin too, and don’t forget to register your site with CommentLuv for more options when using it (it will allow you to choose from last 10 posts instead of only last post). We also use KeywordLuv which allow you to write yourname@yourkeyword in the “name” field to take advantage of not only a Do-Follow link, but also anchor text for the link, so leave your name so we can get to know each other.
I usually write about bogging, SEO, business, WordPress, social networking/media, and writing but I am open for suggestions. I have been blogging for 2yrs at the time of this article, and want to use this blog to help others learn, have discussions, and discover other blogs.
I live in the mountains of North Carolina right now (right across the street from Beech Mountain ski slopes), I have a 4yr old daughter named Avery, I was born in Florida where I loved to surf, fish and play golf. I have spent most of the last 20yrs in construction and have owned several contracting businesses. I currently make my fulltime living from my Fence Products site where you can purchase aluminum and vinyl fence materials to install yourself or hire a fence contractor to install it (ok that was a cheap plug, but hey, this is my site now:-))
I also write at a couple of other sites that are multi author sites. Famous Bloggers is a site mostly dedicated to the “make money online” niche, and Blogger Luv is a site that is going through some changes right now, but will include a community and also is authored my several great bloggers.
I am always looking for guest writers so if you are interested, just leave me a comment with your REAL email in the email section of the comment form and I will be in touch with you. I like to stay with the topics I listed above, but am open for other topics including self development, time management, and off beat topics like humor and food.
